In Greenfluencers in the Wild, content creators embark on a raw and transformative journey, participating in nature helping activities and pushing the boundaries of green activism. Led by Margreen, they unite to harness the power of storytelling, nature science, and the toxic world of social media to create impactful change for the planet, all while navigating the inner and climate changes of balancing authenticity for the pursuit of influencing others for greener lives.


Concept:

Greenfluencers in the Wild follows a group of passionate environmental content creators, led by Margarita Samsonova (Margreen), on an immersive, transformative journey. Over 10 days they participate in real-world environmental challenges, collaborate with 12 environmental organizations to create impactful stories for social media while these GenZ run around Portugal arguing about who is more sustainable and what does it even mean. Built entirely on collective effort, fueled by pure enthusiasm, we capture the essence of activism. Each experience, crafted by the team, is designed to confront ecological crises, all while pushing forward solutions and empowering the greenfluencer culture. oh and did you see how Trever completely stole the show?

Premise: Series Overview

Over the course of 10 days they tackled real-life challenges like wildlife conservation, marine research, rewilding efforts, and plastic pollution cleanup and someone even discovered they have a half sister that the whole family was keeping as a secret. The show focuses on both the emotional journey of the greenfluencers - living their real life, while being online and balancing their larger mission of contributing to environmental change through media and content creation. Raw, reflective, adventurous, inspiring, motivational. It balances the seriousness of environmental action with light, personal moments of growth, fun, musings and connection. The show maintains a hopeful, solution-oriented narrative, but doesn’t shy away from showing the real struggles and setbacks along the way. Filled with action, energy, adventure, drama, inspiration and enthusiasm.

Style:

Filmed in a documentary-reality- social experiment hybrid style, Greenfluencers in the Wild captures preplanning of the trip by Marga, intimate moments of reflections alongside wide, sweeping shots of nature and immersive green action scenes. Margarita alongside the participants would narrate and voice note their thoughts, describing full circle moments bringing these participants together as they gather to create gentle waves of change that start with little actions like planting trees and learning about science behind environmental solutions. Drone footage, real-time journal entries, and raw voice memos bring a sense of vulnerability, while the use of innovative that Marga will be using during her meditations and connections with nature, eg climbing trees and talking to moss, sustainable technology like PlantWave and eco-friendly gear that will be used throughout the trip and gifted to environmental organisations, by our sponsors and, adds a modern, tech-savvy element to the visuals. Let’s not forget Margreen will also be teaching these greenfluencers how to sponsor and pitch their ideas and showing behind the scenes how the show that participants will be co-filming themselves is going to bring further waves into the movement.

The reality show will capture all of this—our raw emotions, the frustrations and joys of working in this space, and the behind-the-scenes moments where the real growth happens- imagine the amount of worries that a GenZ thought leader is feeling about the state of our environment and the pressure they feel trying to reverse the damage, seeing that our nature is disappearing faster than we can say ā€œWTF IS A GREENFLUENCER?ā€ This means every person on the team, from logistics to creative direction, plays a vital part in amplifying these stories. It’s not just about making beautiful content but about connecting people to the bigger picture of what’s happening to our planet, through compelling narratives grounded in nature science communication and environmental action.
